Welcome to Year 5!

We cover three topics over the year:

Autumn – Industrial Staffordshire

Spring – Unique Egypt

Summer – Crime and Punishment.

To enhance these topics further, we go on trips to Birmingham back to backs houses, Think tank museum, Harry Potter World and the Ancient High House in Stafford. We also have termly ‘wow days’ where we complete topic themed activities and immerse ourselves into our learning through role play, creative learning and hands-on experiences.

Reading is at the heart of all we do, we have the opportunity to visit and join our local library where we all come home with a book to borrow and our very own library card!

Please look at our page to find out more about the  additional exciting learning opportunities we have over the year. You can also find our Knowledge Organisers for each topic and newsletters with key information for the term.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office who will be able to direct you to the current year group lead, Miss Robertson.
