Welcome to Year 4!

We cover three topics over the year:

Autumn: Road Trip USA

Spring: Ancient Greece

Summer: Traders and Raiders

To enhance these topics further, we go on a trip to Hanley Museum to explore the Staffordshire Hoard.

A key experience in Year 4 is our residential experience to Laches Wood. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to gain a wealth of personal development experiences and an opportunity to build independence, resilience and communication skills.

Reading is at the heart of all we do, we have daily story time, daily time to read our own books and have a visit to the local library where we get our own library card and bring home a book to borrow.

Please look at our page to see some of our learning in action. You can also find our termly newsletters with key information for the term.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office who will be able to direct you to the year group lead, Mrs Flynn.
